Located on a major arterial road, the design achieves the desired outcome per the local area plan for an architectural building that reflects the significance and the prominent gateway location to the Chermside Major Centre. In particular, the relationship to the northern elevation addresses views along Gympie Road.

Behind the striking facade, the building is occupied by a diverse, demanding and often competing uses. Including: pharmacy, medical centre, cafe, xray diagnostic, pathology, a four bunker radiotherapy unit, 25 bed oncology day unit, a two theatre day surgery and a floor of medical specialist suites.
