David graduated in 1995 with Honours from the University of Qld and won the Graduate Design Prize. He joined WGA in 2004, and has been the project architect on a number of key projects; including residential, interiors, retail, commercial and health.
David's experience covers all aspects of project delivery including brief development, user consultation and facilitation, design, documentation, coordination, administration and management.
Prior to joining WGA, David was an Associate at Blight Voller Nield where he specialised in the design of health care projects, aged care and research facilities. He has been involved as specialist medical planner, project architect and project manager on a number of significant projects in Australia and New Zealand.
David completed an MBA in 2002, with a strong interest in the areas of organisational change management. Through this he has been able to work with clients to review and improve existing work practice. And to assist clients in areas of designing, implementing and managing organisational change such as adopting best practice, operational and process improvements.
